Ryser's Farm Pumpkin Patch

My Aunt and Uncle have a pumpkin patch that we took Peyton to. Last year this time I went to the pumpkin patch to tell my family I was pregnant. It was very exciting to be taking my family picture this year on the hay. Peyton loved the chickens and chatted with them while sitting on her Grammy's lap. Next year she'll be running around the patch picking out her own pumpkins!

Sunriver

We decided to spend our 2nd Anniversary in our favorite place...Sunriver. This was also our first family vacation. We were there the first weekend in October and woke up Sunday morning to 4 inches of snow. Peyton had a weekend of many firsts. First trip to Sunriver, first family vacation and first time seeing snow!!

Happy Little P

Our little P has turned out to be quite the happy little girl. Most of the time it doesn't take much effort to get her to smile. She is 5 months old now and rolling over quite a bit. She loves to stand up as much as possible which makes me worry she will want to be walking sooner than later!!

Summer play dates

This summer Peyton and I got spend some quality time with new and old friends. Peyton's new friends: Emersyn, Connor, Logan and Trinti are all babies to mom's that I went to high school with. All of the babies are within a couple months of each other...although size wise you would never guess! We've had a lot of fun this summer watching the babies grow together. Hopefully now that the mommies are going back to work we will get to continue our play dates.

Peyton is getting so big!

Everyone has always said kids grow up fast but I never really believed it until now. Peyton is changing every day. When she first got into her play gym she was a little overwhelmed with all of the toys and colors. But every time she gets in it she finds something new. She absolutely loves the frog and finally has figured out how to grab it and make it spin. She has also discovered that she can stand up while in the gym! Hopefully soon we will get a video camera so we can capture even more memories.

Random Summertime photos

We are having a blast this summer with Peyton. She is growing so quickly and changes every day. She wants so badly to sit up but doesn't quite have the strength yet. When she is on her tummy she would rather try to figure out how to get moving then work on rolling over. Although she has rolled onto her back a few times. This week she started reaching out for some of her toys. She is still hasn't realized that if she opened her thumbs up it would be much easier. However, as soon as she figures out the thumb it will be straight in her mouth. When she isn't smiling or talking her fingers are in her mouth! We'll be going in soon for her 4 month check up but as of a couple weeks ago she weighed 13lbs 13oz and it shows in her chubby thighs!!
